Servo Systems
Servo systems are a control mechanism used in mechanical systems that require motion control and precise positioning. Basically, a servo system produces an output with a position, speed, or torque determined by the input signal. Servo systems are widely used in many areas such as robotics, automation, industrial machines, CNC machines, aviation and consumer electronics..
Servo Motor:It can be DC or AC motor type. It provides rotary or linear motion. It is designed for precise control capabilities.
Controller: Processes the input signal and generates the required motor determines its movement. PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) control algorithm is frequently used.
Driver: Makes the signal from the controller suitable for the operation of the motor. Controls the speed, direction and torque of the motor.
Feedback System (Encoder or Resolver): Measures the position, speed and direction information of the motor. Provides feedback to the system for precise control.
